Although Samsung Pay is not currently available in the US, Sprint is now updating its carrier-specific versions of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge to prepare them for the upcoming launch of the mobile payment service.
The Sprint updates will ensure that the two handsets have their software ready for when Samsung Pay launches in the US on September 28. Other carriers will have to bring similar updates to the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge for the payment system to work.
