Motorola updated its Camera and Gallery apps in the Google Play Store today. The update to the Camera app adds a bar code and QR reader to the camera on devices like the Second-generation Motorola Moto X, Motorola Moto X Pro (Chinese variant of the Nexus 6), Motorola DROID Turbo and versions of the Motorola Moto MAXX running on Android 5.1. The advantage for users of these models is that they don’t have to download a separate QR or bar code reader from the Google Play Store when one is needed.
