Last week, 14-year old Ahmed Mohamed brought something to school that scared the hell out of school officials. The Texas high-school student had fashioned a digital clock out of a pencil case, and figured he would receive praise from his teacher for this project. Instead, the worst kind of racism and prejudice reared its ugly head. The teacher figured that with the student’s name, a homemade clock could only mean one thing…a bomb. The principal agreed and the cops were called.
