FEARS: Inverclyde Academy.

TWO Inverclyde schools are at the centre of a swine flu alert.

One pupil at Inverclyde Academy in Greenock has shown symptoms of the virus, while another at St John’s Primary in Port Glasgow has been feeling unwell.

Neither case has been confirmed by health chiefs.

A spokesman for Inverclyde Council said: “We are monitoring the situation and will act appropriately if and when necessary.”
