New Delhi, Jan 15 (PTI) Three friends were arrested in
the national capital for allegedly doing shopping of Rs 3.5
lakh in a south Delhi mall using the cloned credit card of a
leading jeweller, police said today.
The arrested have been identified as Neeraj Mangla (26),
Chander Mohan Rawat (29), and Amit Sharma (30), an accountant
with Croma shopping complex in Saket from where they allegedly
did the shopping.
Rakesh Aggarwal, another accused in the case, was
arrested on January four in a similar incident of cheating
that took place in Faridabad, and is presently lodged in jail.
“They cloned the credit card of a leading city jeweller
Naveen Mehra and did the shopping on December 24,” DCP (south)
H G S Dhaliwal said.
Aggarwal, Sharma and Rawat had gone to the shop and
purchased electronic articles worth Rs 3.50 lakh through
credit card.
