The Kirin 950 chipset is expected to be released next month by Huawei. How zippy will this chip be? Huawei CEO Yu Chengdong says that the SoC will be faster than rival chips made by Qualcomm and MediaTek. Two handsets powered by the Kirin 950 are believed to be in line for a launch before the end of this year. Those could be the Huawei Honor 7 Plus, and the Huawei Mate 8.
