What you’ll be doing …
You will provide leadership in defining and documenting detailed behavior of product features, define plans to realize them and help a cross-functional team (developers, testers, designers, management) successfully execute them. While successful projects demand hard work, you believe that the core of a project’s success lies in top-notch communication. You connect people with different skill sets who must work together on projects and make sure they understand scope, expectations, the plan and any deviations from it. You will write feature requirements and/or specifications, leveraging both your experience and those on the existing team. You ensure the project team defines and executes to schedules and commitments while helping them understand the overall goals of the work. When the plan needs to change, you ensure that the team and stakeholders are on board by proactively communicating with them.

Who you are …
You have a strong technical background as a former developer, unparalleled communication skills, and an ability to work with developers, testers, designers, management, and partners to make the best decisions for the product. You are tenacious and focus on the details while striving to maintain and support the flexibility that an upstart product company needs to grow and be successful. You want to see your ideas realized and can motivate a diverse set of people to get that done. You Communication (written or verbal) is the first tool that you reach for on your projects, and you know how to communicate well with everyday project members, occasional participants, and sponsors. You see the success of the project team as your success.
