Christopher Chaney, the 35-year-old Florida man accused of hacking into the e-mail accounts of Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis and other Hollywood stars, will plead guilty in court Monday to nine felony counts, including charges of computer hacking and illegal wire-tapping, according to documents filed yesterday. He faces up to 60 years behind bars.
Chaney apologized to his alleged victims in an interview conducted shortly after his indictment in October:“I know what I did was probably the worst invasion of privacy someone could experience. … I’m not trying to escape what I did. It was wrong. And I have to just face that and go forward.” He claimed he did not leak nude photos of Johansson online. (Associated Press)
