Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for ‘Annie.’ In this modern-day remake, Academy Award winner, Jamie Foxx plays the character of Benjamin Stacks, (the “Daddy” Warbucks character) who is running for mayor and needs to adopt Annie (played by Quvenzhané Wallis, the youngest person to ever be nominated for an Academy Award) to help his political career. Miss Hannigan will be played by Cameron Diaz.
‘Annie’ will be in theaters Christmas 2014.
