Powered by Max Banner Ads WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Area law enforcement agencies are investigating more than a dozen cases of credit card fraud. According to Purdue, two victims are members of the campus community, four are from West Lafayette and 10 are from Tippecanoe County. But police believe there are other victims. Officers said the physical credit cards have not been stolen, just the numbers. Purdue Police Department, along with West Lafayette Police Department and the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office are working together and encourage victims to contact the agency where they live. They also ask everyone to keep an eye on the charges to their credit cards.
