GREENSBURG, Pa. — A Pennsylvania woman denies claims that she vandalized police officers’ personal vehicles, but investigators say video proves otherwise.
Donna Desport, 54, was arrested after she keyed two cars in the parking lot of the Greensburg police station, according to the Houston Chronicle. Officers’ personal vehicles – not their squad cars – were vandalized, which caused $4,600 in damage, police said.
Detective Jerry Vernail said Desport was at the station picking up her son, who had been charged with drunk driving.
Surveillance cameras monitor the lot and show that Desport was the only person there at the time of the crime, Vernail said.
