Description:
The Cyber Security Engineering Intern shall be a part of team that will discover information protection needs; define system security requirements; define system security architecture; develop detailed security designs; implement system security; and assess information protection effectiveness for AFLCMC/WWD Fighter/Bomber Directorate at WPAFB, OH. The CyberSecurity Engineer shall support provide support to program office decision makers regarding correction of security problems identified during vulnerability assessments. He/She shall Evaluate functional operation and performance in light of test results and make recommendations regarding Certification and Accreditation (CA).He or she shall attend weekly Peer Reviews and status update meetings. The Cyber Security Engineer shall examine vulnerabilities and determine actions to mitigate them, implement technical security controls, and provide support for the development of IA related customer support policies, procedures, and standards
The position is on site on Wright Patterson AFB in the Development Integration Program Transition Division of the Fighter/Bomber Directorate.
Requirements:
- Completion of Junior year in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in Aerospace industry
- Articulate in professional communication bot written and oral
- Proficient in Computer skills with Microsoft Office and MATLAB
