Four enter guilty pleas

Four people entered pleas to Judge Glen Harrison during 32nd Judicial District Court proceedings this week.
Rocky Flores pled guilty to credit/debit card abuse, a state jail felony. The date of offense was March 5, 2010. Fir his plea, Flores received 16 months confinement in the State Jail Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He is also responsible for paying a $1,000 fine, $309 in court costs, $500 in attorney’s fees and $150 in restitution to Russell Davis of Sweetwater. He will receive 210 days credit towards his sentence for time already served in jail.
Perry Jones Davis pled no contest to burglary of a building, a state jail felony. The date of offense was April 13, 2009. For his plea, Davis received two years confinement in the State Jail Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, probated for two years. He is also responsible for paying a $750 fine, $559 in court costs and $500 in attorney’s fees. He will also have to serve 120 hours of community service.
Cameron Mitchell Patocka pled guilty to driving while intoxicated, the lesser included offense of driving while intoxicated with a child passenger, which was classified as a Class B misdemeanor. The date of offense was July 4, 2006. For his plea, Patocka received 180 days confinement in the Nolan County Jail, probated to 180 days of community supervision. He is also responsible for paying a fine of $2,000, $484 in court costs and $500 in attorney’s fees.
Patocka’s driver’s license will be suspended for 90 days to run concurrently with any Administrative License Revocation (ALR) suspension arising from this offense, commencing on the 181st day after probation is granted, provided, however, that if the defendant has completed the traffic safety education program for alcohol related traffic offenders on or before that date, the defendant’s Class C driver’s license shall not be suspended. He will also have to serve 120 hours of community service.
Juan Alberto Soto pled guilty to driving while intoxicated, the lesser included offense of driving while intoxicated with a child passenger, which was classified as a Class B misdemeanor. The date of offense was March 2, 2009. For his plea, Soto received 180 days confinement in the Nolan County Jail, probated to 180 days of community supervision. He is also responsible for paying a fine of $750 and $484 in court costs.
