Georgia voter registration deadline is October 11th

The deadline for voter registration in Georgia is October 11, 2016. Eligible residents are encouraged to register to vote by the deadline if they would like to participate in the upcoming November election.

Georgia Secretary of State, Brian Kemp, explains the simple ways residents may register to vote this year.

“It has never been easier to register to vote in our state,” Kemp said in a Sept. 9 statement. “For the first time in Georgia, voters can register to vote or update their information online, via text, or by using my office’s smartphone app.”
