DURANGO — Durango police are blaming a computer hacker for stealing information on hundreds of credit cards.
Police say all credit and debit cards used at Mama’s Boy Italian Ristorante since August have been compromised.
Police tell the Durango Herald the restaurant computers were infected with a virus that sends financial information back to the hacker.
Police say more than 70 credit and debit cards have been duplicated and used in other states, but hundreds more have been compromised.
