Samsung’s SwiftKey keyboard on TouchWiz acting out? Well, despite the latest Android 5.1.1 update you might have noticed that there is a perceived lag between tapping on a text entry field, and the keyboard popping up afterwards in a few long, excruciating seconds.
That delay is due to forceclosing and redraw of the stock keyboard that for some reason is connected to Samsung’s much maligned SPCM service that also has been blamed for the overly aggressive RAM management on its recent Android phones.
