Despite rocking an image stabilizing gizmo, last year’s iPhone 6 Plus didn’t actually make use of the mechanism when taking video. For whatever reason, Apple had decided to only make use of OIS with images — and while not ideal, that’s still a plus. With this year’s iPhone 6s Plus, however, OIS will work with both images and video, and a new sample from German Giga showcases the effect by comparing the footage with the iPhone 6s, which has no optical stabilization.
