LG today announced an exclusive version of its Watch Urbane (which was released via Google Store back in April). Called LG Watch Urbane Luxe, the new version of the wearable device will be released at the end of October in collaboration with US-based jewelry company REEDS. The watch is plated with 23-karat gold, has an alligator leather strap (available in various colors), and comes in an “exclusive piano-gloss lacquer case.”
Obviously, the LG Watch Urbane Luxe will be expensive: LG says it’s going to be sold for about $1,200. Only 500 units will be made, each with its own serial number. …
