Barker Specialty Products by Hill PHOENIX located in Keosauqua, IA is looking for the following positions:
Network Administrator: Network administration experience is required. This person will be responsible for providing system technical support for the Hill Phoenix network community and works to resolve customer service requests. The responsibilities include but not limited to:
⢠Oversees the maintenance of both the LAN and the WAN systems
⢠Duties may include the administration of Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 server and related utilities, Microsoft Exchange 2007, VMWARE, Citrix, Cisco router/switch administration, and system security techniques.
⢠Assists in presenting to management recommendations related to purchasing and installing hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment
⢠Participates in the deployment of appropriate security patches, hot fixes, and software updates
⢠Participates in the development of policies, procedures, and resources that standardize the functioning of the network
⢠Keeps up-to-date documentation of applications, systems, and network equipment
⢠Enforces IT standards and educates employees about compliance issues
⢠Manages user accounts for employee hires, changes, and terminations
⢠Provides desktop computer technical support including troubleshooting and resolution of issues with software, hardware, and network connectivity.
⢠Develop other processes as assigned by the Network Support Manager and/or Technology (Travel may be required to fully complete Job Duties. Passport for international travel will be required)
Purchasing Agent: This person will be responsible for purchasing quality material at the lowest cost and best value consistent with company guidelines and policy. To accomplish this, a Purchasing Agent must perform a vast number of duties. Those duties include, but are not limited to the following:
⢠Maintain good company image and supplier relations through the many daily business contacts.
⢠Advise other departments of any changes in prices and lead times.
⢠Review order entries and take action as required.
⢠Process the Order Status/MRP report daily and place orders as necessary.
⢠Review shortage report daily and expedite deliveries to support production.
⢠Review quotations for terms and conditions that might conflict with company policy.
⢠Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
⢠Prepares purchase orders or bid requests.
⢠Reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
⢠Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
CAD Designer: Qualified individuals will possess the skills below:
⢠Drafting experience and knowledge of AutoCAD especially 3D modeling, Autodesk Revit, Solid Modeling and Microsoft Office.
⢠Knowledge of sheet metal design and wood construction.
⢠Works well with others in a team atmosphere
⢠Works well on assigned tasks with little supervision
⢠Willingness to learn
The selected individuals will be required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Occasionally additional hours will be required and may be necessary on short notice.
