A teacher in Brampton has been charged with multiple counts of sexual assault and Peel police believe there may be more victims.

In November, police received information that between October 2022 and November 2022, a teacher with a Peel District School Board middle school allegedly sexually assaulted three female victims.

John Weaver, 59, from Oakville, was arrested and charged Monday with three counts of sexual assault and three counts of sexual interference.

He attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton for a bail hearing.

This investigation remains ongoing; police believe there may be more victims.
