A man accused of abducting a 14-year-old girl from her South Bexar County home at gunpoint and sexually assaulting her was arrested Sunday, deputies said.

Ryan Paul Ramos, 31, was charged with sexual assault of a child and aggravated kidnapping. He posted bond Tuesday totaling $200,000.

At about 1:30 a.m. Saturday, the teen was in the front yard of her home when Ramos drove onto the driveway and allegedly took her, Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said.

The girl was driven to the 6200 block of Vance Jackson Road — which investigators later determined was near Ramos’ own residence — where she was sexually assaulted, according to an affidavit.

Ramos then let her go after she asked to leave, at which point she ran to a nearby business and a patron called 911, investigators said.
