SAN JOSE – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of molesting a 13-year-old girl on the Los Alamitos Trail in San between August and September.

Suspect 

The victim encountered the suspect on the trail between Harry Road and Camden Avenue five times while walking her dog, according to San Jose police Officer Gina Tepoorten.

Tepoorten said the suspect spoke to the victim about her dog each time and inappropriately touched her during the last three encounters, all of which occurred in the morning or early evening hours.

The victim described the suspect as 60 to 70 years old, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-10 and 175 to 200 pounds. He was also balding with white hair, had yellow crooked teeth and spoke with an accent.

A sketch of the suspect was released Tuesday afternoon.
