Julie LIFU (pictured) was last seen with her child in Douglas on Monday September 23 and has not been seen since.
Police hold concerns for the welfare of both mother and child, as the mother suffers from a medical condition and her behaviour is out of character.
The mother is described as Torres Strait Islander, approximately 165cm tall, of a heavy build, with short black hair and brown eyes.
The child has a cast on her arm as it has been recently fractured.
Anyone who sees Ms LIFU or her child or has further information is urged to contact police.
