A Monday afternoon fight left a Triad principal hurt, according to officers.Thomasville police reported that two students at Thomasville High School were involved in a fight.The principal then attempted to break up the fight when one of the students inadvertently hit the principal in the head.Both of the students are being charged with affray.One of the students is also charged with assault on a school official.Police said that the principal is doing fine.School officials released the following statement: There was an altercation in which the principal was actually trying to prevent and break up a fight between two students and she was hit in the process. Per normal protocols, she was sent to be checked for injuries, is back to work today and we are handling the student discipline matters.
