Colombo (News 1st); A 29-year-old math teacher was arrested by the Police Unit of the National Child Protection Authority for sexually abusing a 12-year-old boy in Colombo.

Chairman of the National Child Protection Authority, Professor Muditha Vidanapathirana speaking to News 1st said the victim’s family had personally filed a complaint with him against the suspect, and thereby the arrest was made.

He said the suspect will be produced in court.
