Tips to Crime Stoppers of El Paso resulted in the arrest of a man suspected in a recent shooting that wounded a car passenger in an East-Central El Paso bar parking lot, officials said.
Ricardo Llamas, 27, of Northeast El Paso, was arrested by the police Gang Unit on Nov. 28 on two counts of aggravated assault following several tips that lead to his identification, Crime Stoppers said.
A security camera photo of the shooter was publicized in Crime Stoppers’ Crime of the Week last week.
The shooting occurred shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 22 outside Bad Habits Bar & Grill in the Airway Plaza retail area at 1160 Airway Blvd.
