A man allegedly cloned a victim’s credit card, then used it to make fraudulent purchases at a Bethesda grocery store. Police are looking for help to identify the suspect photographed above. Detectives say he used the cloned card last month. The victim was notified of fraudulent activity on her card on Feb. 12, according to police. She still had her card “and was uncertain how the card number was being used to make purchases,” police said. Police said an investigation revealed the card had been cloned and used at a Safeway in Bethesda. Anyone with information about this crime or the suspect is asked to contact the 2nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6726.
