A Prior Lake man has pleaded guilty to three counts of felony child pornography possession in a case that dates back to 2013.
Miguel Angel Navarette Lezama, 33, entered the pleas on Oct. 13 in Scott County District Court. The resolution of the case comes more than two years after Prior Lake police executed a search warrant of Lezama’s home and found 62 pornographic images of children on a computer and another 12 images on a hard drive.
Local police forwarded evidence to the Scott County Sheriff’s Department for further investigation, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children later confirmed that the pornographic photos and videos in Lezama’s possession included real and identified children as young as 9 years old involved in a variety of sex acts.
