CLEVELAND, Nov. 11 (UPI) — An Ohio man who admitted hacking into the Web sites of well-known conservatives while he was a University of Akron student has been sentenced to 30 months.

A federal judge in Cleveland ordered Michael Frost, 23, of Bellevue, Ohio, to pay $40,000 in restitution to Fox News Channel commentator Bill O’Reilly and $10,000 to the university, The Bellevue Gazette reported. Frost was sentenced last week.

Frost admitted using university equipment to close down Anncoulter.com and Joinrudy2008.com, a Rudy Giuliani presidential campaign site, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

Investigators said when they seized and examined Frost’s equipment they found 136 illegally obtained Social Security numbers, credit card numbers and similar personal data, almost 3,000 computer screen names and passwords and 13 copyrighted movies.
