The upcoming Huawei Nexus phablet might integrate a Samsung-made AMOLED display

According to a new report from Samsung’s home country of South Korea, Samsung Display is actively looking to diversify its customer base. Since most of the AMOLED panels that come out of Samsung Display’s factories end up in Samsung handsets, the fate of the display maker is strongly tied with Samsung’s commercial performance in the smartphone market. 

Allegedly, in an attempt to break these chains, Samsung Display has started sending AMOLED panel samples to Huawei, with shipment numbers expected to increase in the upcoming months.
