Samsung today announced that its brand new Gear S2 smartwatch would be available to buy starting October, while also revealing that the wearable device is compatible not just with Galaxy smartphones, but also with non-Samsung devices featuring at least 1.5 GB of RAM and running Android 4.4 or later. Does that mean that all Android 4.4 (or later) devices with 1.5 GB of RAM or more will work with the Gear S2? Well, not really.
