The previous Android 5.0.1 update to the Verizon branded LG G3 turned a smooth working device into the Devil’s handset. Those with the phone found it randomly freezing, with apps opening and closing as if the device had a mind of its own. The battery was running low too quickly, and using the phone became a frustrating experience.
The speculation was that the LG G3 would skip the last Lollipop update, and go straight to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. And those with the LG G3 worried about how long they would have to put up with the poor performance that they were now receiving from the phone. …
