WKH CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS has joined forces with Top 20 firm UHY Hacker Young Group.
The tie-up will see UHY increase the number of offices in its remit to 22 following the amalgamation of WKH’s three offices in Hertfordshire and Cambridge.
Howard Spencer, chairman UHY Hacker Young Group, (pictured) said: “WKH will be a very welcome addition to the group. It will expand our coverage to a very important part of the country and will allow us to pool resources, talent and expertise to provide an enhanced level of service for clients.”
From today WKH Chartered Accountants, which specialises in agriculture, academy schools, recruiters and professional firms, will rebrand as UHY WKH Partnership.
David Smyth, senior partner at WKH, said: “We are very pleased to be joining one of the UKs most highly respected and dynamic accountancy groups. The tie-up means our clients will be able to access an integrated range of services across the UK and, via UHY International, overseas.”
Within WKH Chartered Accountants is wealth management company Provisio, payroll and bookkeeping provider Virtual Business Source, and HR support and consultancy HR Service Centre.
WKH’s client base ranges across UK subsidiaries of foreign groups, dynamic mid-tier companies, owner-managed businesses, pension schemes, professional firms and charities.
