Santa Fe County deputies say they arrested a 26-year-old woman who crashed through a guard barrier on Interstate 25 while driving drunk on Thanksgiving Day with a 7-year-old relative in the vehicle.
Neither Kathryn Byrant, the driver, nor her young relative were injured in the crash. Deputies arrested Bryant of Rio Rancho on a charge of child abuse, aggravated drunken driving and careless driving.
