Doogee says phone makers need to stop copying the iPhone

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Doogee sent out an email the other day to gizChina, with a new manifesto. The company says that smartphone manufacturers need to stop manufacturing handsets that look like the iPhone, with those rounded edges. Doogee says that this desire to be different is what pushed the company to use square corners for its upcoming Doogee F5.

The Doogee F5 features a Gorilla Glass 3 protected 5.5-inch screen, with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. That works out to a pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood is the MediaTek 6753 SoC, which includes an octa-core CPU and the the Mali-T720 …
