Judge: Hyde Park man convicted on child porn charge

A Hyde Park man convicted on a child pornography charge will serve 3- to 7-years in prison, according toDutchess County Court Judge Stephen Greller.

Michael Cerasaro, 62, admitted that he had a video of a sexual performance by a female child, in violation of his probation, Greller said via news release. Cerasaro had been on probation for “attempted dissemination of indecent materials to minors.”

Cerasaro was arrested in July, according to Journal archives. State police seized and evaluated his computer equipment and found two images of child pornography, after being notified of the violation by Dutchess County Probation.

He was given two consecutive sentences, which are served back to back rather than at the same time.
