Lockport police arrest two for credit card fraud

Lockport police arrested two women in separate cases Friday, charging each with fourth-degree grand larceny for allegedly stealing more than $1,000 from victims’ bank accounts through thee of stolen credit cards. Felicia M. Wittig, 26, of Niagara Street, Niagara Falls, was picked up by Falls police Friday afternoon and brought to Lockport. A male resident of Urban Park Towers, an apartment building on Main Street in Lockport, told police that Wittig was in his apartment for two hours Oct. 29 and after she left, he couldn’t find his card. Later, he found $1,600 had been withdrawn from his account. Barbara L. Bartholomew, 46, of South Transit Street, Lockport, was picked up Friday morning at a 7-Eleven store at South Transit and High streets, and charged with making 13 unauthorized withdrawals from a Lockport woman’s bank account using a stolen ATM card between mid-July and early October.
