New Canaan police make identity theft arrest

A Hartford woman was arrested by warrant and charged with third-degree identity theft and illegal use of credit card in connection with car break-ins in July and August, according to police. Dana Vincent, 39, of Lenox Street, Hartford, was charged with two counts each of third-degree identity theft, conspiracy to commit identity theft and illegal use of a credit card. Through their investigation, police were able to obtain surveillance footage of Vincent using stolen cards. New Canaan police took Vincent into custody Oct. 27 after being contacted by Hartford police that they had detained her on New Canaan’s warrant, according to a police report.
