A southern New Jersey man is facing child pornography charges.
Federal prosecutors say 37-year-old Eric Ziegler got the images and videos through a website that operated on an anonymous online network. The Williamstown man is charged with receiving child pornography and faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
The charges stem from a search warrant executed Thursday at his home. Investigators say they found 41 computer discs containing child sexual abuse, including images and video files of men having sex with young girls.
Prosecutors say law enforcement officers learned in February that a user of an online account registered at Ziegler’s home was linked to an online community of people who regularly sent and received child pornography.
