An alleged member of the loose-knit hacktivist collective Anonymous has boasted about the group being perhaps the most powerful organization on Earth. A hacker known as “Commander X” has claimed that the group has access to every classified database in the US government. Some critics believe that Anonymous is a made-up organization and its sole purpose is to assist in implementing legislation that will take over the Internet.
