Crime Solvers Searching For Credit Card Fraud Suspect

The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program is asking for your help to solve a credit card fraud case out of Colonial Heights. On January18th around 6:30 p.m., a woman was waiting for a table at the Texas Roadhouse on Conduit Road in Colonial Heights. While in the waiting area, another woman sat next to her for a few seconds, and then walked back out of the restaurant. When being seated at her table, she noticed that her purse felt lighter than usual. She looked inside and saw that her wallet was missing. After she realized her wallet was missing, she received a call from one of her credit card companies letting her know that a charge on one of her credit cards was attempted at the Target store near Southpark Mall. Several transactions were attempted at other stores in Colonial Heights with different cards. One transaction, at the local Home Depot, had actually processed. Surveillance cameras captured images of the female suspect who made the attempt at Target. She appeared to be a white female in her late 30s or early 40s.
