Federal Security Management

  • 5+ years experience related to federal security operations/disciplines and mission areas (NISP, Intel and public trust suitability industry).
  • Business process re–engineering, development and implementation
  • Experience with federal personnel security processing requirements.  Experience with suitability adjudication preferred.
  • Experience in managing high performing teams for results.
  • Experience developing personnel security policies/procedures and/or security and awareness training preferred.
  • Experience with Office of Personnel management (OPM) Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (eQIP) and JPAS preferred.
  • In–depth administrative or analytic experience in personnel security/suitability.
  • Professional, customer–centered attitude; executive demeanor.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, thorough and detail–oriented, with strong multi–tasking and prioritization skills and competent follow–through skills.
  • Excellent computer skills – MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet.  Visio experience is also desired. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Discrete, with ability to handle and protect highly sensitive personnel/security data.
  • Proactive and creative thinker who is willing to contribute ideas and operates well in a rapid–response environment.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment.
  • Must be able to work both independently and in close collaboration/interaction with other team members. 
  • Ability to take initiative – assertive and confident.
  • Extremely flexible – able to constantly prioritize/reassess multifunctional position.
