Former Hotel Manager Guilty of Wire Fraud

UNDATED- (WHTC)- A former Allendale hotel general manager plead guilty in Grand Rapids US District Court this week to wire fraud in excess of over 900 thousand dollars. Renata Nicole Annese plead guilty to 14 counts of wire fraud and one count of money laundering. Annese moved the money from the hotel credit card payments to her personal account from 2006 to 2013 when she managed the Sleep Inn Hotel. As part of her plea deal, Annese agreed to repay 872 thousand dollars. Annese faces up to 20 years in prison for the crime.
