Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Front End/UI Developer to join our leading digital media client in NYC.
Job Overview:
Our client is looking for a candidate with Object Oriented Javascript skills. HTML and XHTML is needed as well.
Job Responsibilities:
– Design web pages, news graphics, charts, and site components
– Design UI for web sites & digital product applications
– Collaborate with editorial, technology and marketing teams to execute a variety of initiatives
– Operate within and maintain the organization and structure of our graphics servers and content management system
– Design graphic elements supporting marketing, promotional, sales and corporate campaigns
– Concept and design variety of ad units (banners, skyscrapers, rich media ads)
Job Qualifications:
– Experience with Object Oriented JavaScript is a MUST!
– Experience with of multiple current web markup and scripting languages: HTML, XHTML, XML, XSLT, CSS
– Understanding of large-scale information design, browser capabilities and constraints
– Experience with User Interface (UI) design
– Ability to cut and optimize graphics for the Web
– A portfolio of examples of your work is required for consideration
– Experience with java script libraries like JQuery
