The city of Eau Claire’s website was attacked Thursday night by computer hackers, rendering it unusable for about five hours.
Reports came in at about 6 p.m. that the website had been replaced by a screen declaring that it had been “hacked by NobOdy.” By about 11 p.m. Thursday, the website was fully restored to working order, according to the city’s information services manager John LeBrun.
