Morphisec, leading developer of Moving Target Defense (MTD) cybersecurity products, today announces rapid global expansion including the opening of its U.S. operations located in Boston. Born out of Ben-Gurion University and the JVP Cyber Labs in Be’er Sheva, Israel, Morphisec has emerged from Israel’s national cybersecurity center to wide acclaim for its forward-thinking technology. The company’s continued momentum throughout 2016 is marked by strategic staffing additions and accelerated customer acquisition across diverse global markets and throughout a wide array of industry verticals.

“Boston is an innovation hub in its own right and it was the ideal location for Morphisec to put down U.S. roots and set the stage for further growth,” said Ronen Yehoshua, Morphisec CEO. “Our vision is to change the rules of the cybersecurity game with effective and efficient prevention. Morphisec’s Moving Target Defense technology prevents sophisticated advanced threats with smart simplicity, zero operating expenses, zero false alarms, and zero disruptions. As we continue expanding into industries including financial services, high-tech, and manufacturing, we are seeing our prevention first message resonate with enterprises who are working to navigate an over-saturated and confusing security market.”

“As part of ongoing efforts to welcome Israeli companies that choose Massachusetts as their home away from home, we are pleased that Morphisec has decided to open its U.S. headquarters in Boston,” said Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker. “We look forward to their continued growth in the months and years ahead.”

Strategic additions to the Morphisec team include the appointment of Adrian Asher to the Advisory Board of Directors and the additions of Arthur Braunstein, VP U.S. Sales, and Yuval Danieli, Director of Customer Services.

Adrian Asher has been working in Information technology for more than 20 years. He currently serves as CISO for the London Stock Exchange Group and prior to that held the position of CISO for both HSBC and Skype. In addition to these crucial posts, Asher also brings to Morphisec experience in helping and advising startups from his time at Accel Partners (London).

Arthur Braunstein brings more than 25 years of executive management and sales leadership experience, including more than 10 years in the data and cybersecurity industry at Digital Guardian (aka Verdasys) and CloudLock (acquired by Cisco). Braunstein previously held executive roles at Big Belly, Escort Inc., ArchiText, Polaroid and ATT. As VP Strategic Sales, Braunstein works to identify key growth areas and develop strategic relationships. Since joining the Morphisec team, Braunstein has already concluded several paramount deals, built a substantial pipeline for 2017, and established the U.S. channel program.

Another industry veteran, Yuval Danieli has more than 25 years of building, leading and growing various customer facing functions in several pioneering startups, including four successful mergers and acquisitions (such as, Orbotech, Business Layers and Computer Associates). His broad expertise also involves successfully selling, delivering and supporting complex deployments across industries and regions.

This expansion illustrates Morphisec’s rapidly gaining momentum. In the short time since announcing the general availability of its Endpoint Protection product earlier this year, the company began work with Yaskawa Motoman Robotics to provide Advanced Threat Prevention as the layer of exploit mitigation and cyber threat prevention in its security stack, and introduced its Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Security Solution. Additionally, Morphisec was designated a 2016 Gartner Cool Vendor and recognized as the People’s Choice Award winner at PwC Cyber Security Day 2016, among other accolades.

Morphisec has been lauded by industry leaders for its disruptive and powerful value proposition. Its Moving Target Defense technology provides value for enterprises and medium size businesses concerned with advanced attacks on their endpoints and the inadequate protection by legacy or “NewGen” security products.
