LG G Pad X 10.1 launches this week on AT&T, brings the old Snapdragon 800 back in spotlight

AT&T today announced a brand new tablet made by LG. Called G Pad X 10.1, the slate is similar to the G Pad II that LG will showcase later this week at IFA 2015.

As its name suggests, the LG G Pad X 10.1 sports a 10.1 inch display (with 1920 x 1200 pixels). The tablet runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box, and is – strangely – powered by Qualcomm’s 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, which has been around for 2 years now.
