We are looking for looking for smart, forward-thinking problem solvers to join our world-class team of International Linux Systems Administrators (at all levels) and help deliver world class fanatical support to our customers.

The Linux Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and administering customer’s solutions using the Linux platform, applying creative problem-solving techniques to resolve our customer's technical issues which can include OS level, web server, database server, applications server, DNS, SMTP or other software issues.

Duties include:

– To provide the highest level of Technical support.
– Create and maintain customer loyalty by serving customers above and beyond their expectations
– Exercise judgment in decision making in order to routinely deliver FANATICAL support to customers.
– Take ownership of issues and seeing them through to resolution.
– Responsible for solving a customer's technical issues
– Support customers over the phone and via tickets

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following:

– General knowledge of Networking, Hardware, software, and DNS
– LAMP experience
– Proficient in RedHat Linux (RHCE or RHCSA level) certification preferred, but not required
– MySQL experience
– System services (i.e., Apache, Mail transfer agents (sendmail, postfix, qmail), FTP, SSH and PHP)
– Clustering experience
– Understand the purpose of Firewalls and Load Balancers, VPN and SSL technologies
– Excellent verbal and written skills
– Creative and collaborative team player
– Must be able to multi-task
– Ownership and follow-up skills
– The ability to respond effectively under pressure
