Pandora to enable listeners to buy concert tickets through its purchase of Ticketfly

Despite claims that the debut of Apple Music had no impact on its listenership, Pandora is not sitting still in the hyper-competitive streaming music segment.

Pandora announced on Wednesday that it had acquired Ticketfly for the cool sum of $450 million. Ticketfly made its name for making it easy for people to find live music events near them, and buy tickets on the spot.
