#parent | #kids | #collegesafety | Week 9 Pac-12 Power Rankings

The eighth week of the Pac-12 football college season has come and gone and it featured two heavyweight battles between ranked opponents. This week the Oregon Ducks went north to take on their Pac-12 rival Washington in the North Division, and in the south, the ranked Arizona State Sun Devils traveled to ranked Utah for another game pitting two Top 25 teams against each other.

Both games were entertaining football contests that featured last week’s four best teams in the eyes of our Pac-12 publishers. The fallout of those two games and many others across the conference created some pretty interesting shifts within the dynamic of the conference.

* 11 out of the 12 Pac-12 sites voted this week in the Power Rankings.

We’ll release our power rankings each Monday throughout the college football season. These rankings are not based on the standings at the date of release, but instead, are rankings based on who we believe is the league’s best team regardless of standing and all the way down to the team we believe is playing the worst football regardless of standing. The team with the lowest amount of points is the league’s highest-rated team. The team with the most points is the league’s lowest-rated team in our power rankings.
